Hansom Column

12/01/2010

Mr Phil has started work on a new column for The Builder journal called 'Hansom'.

The column draws it's name from Joseph Aloysius Hansom (26 October 1803 – 29 June 1882) who was a prolific English architect working principally in the Gothic Revival style. Hansom invented the Hansom cab and was one of the founders of the eminent architectural journal, The Builder , in 1843.

Phil's drawings will appear weekly on http://www.building.co.uk/comment/hansom/ covering a variety of architectural topics.
